Why Coral Minerals?
In my earlier writings, I have stressed the calcium factor for health and many of these issues will be further addressed in my books. My belief in the role of coral minerals for health has come from many years of careful research and observation of its effects in thousands of individuals who have used coral products. There is a voluminous amount of folklore, historical and scientific literature on stony corals and their biological implications, but I have been most impressed by its apparent universal health benefits which on occasion, almost defy explanation. My support for the nutraceutical value of coral calcium is not a “leap of faith” based on my channeled research on calcium alone. When coral calcium from Okinawa and surrounding domains in Japan is used as a food supplement, it touches many lives in a highly positive manner.
In brief we can learn from the experiences of the inhabitants of Okinawa, who have among the best health and longest lives in the world, which include ten times as many centenarians as area found in the United States. They also have large numbers of robust individuals in their eighties and nineties. Whilst, many factors may operate to create this desirable circumstance, I, like the Spanish explorers before me, believe a key to this circumstance is the use of coral calcium as a food supplement in this highly blessed community of people.
Some people may dismiss this phenomenon as a chance observation, there are new scientific and medical discoveries that give a credible, scientific basis for the use of coral calcium for health. One key constituent of coral calcium is readily absorbable calcium and magnesium, but other factors within coral, including its highly balanced mineral content and the occurrence of microbes, may account for observed benefits. Beyond these issues are speculations about other components of coral and a clear recognition that many of the minerals are present in a “chemical form” that is highly desirable for use by the body.

Coral Calcium – Lifestyle and Minerals
Implicit in the desire for eternal youth is our wish to avoid poor health which seems to emerge with advancing age. Of all interventions that have been tried for enhancing well-being and long-life, few have worked. I believe that the issues are tied up in our lifestyle. The biblical patriarchs, who definitely had a different lifestyle, lived to be over 900 years old. Today, a healthy lifestyle is a key factor in extended life that must have a quality free from disease. Beyond the important, health sermons on cigarette smoking, stress, drug abuse etc., nutritional factors figure most strongly as determinants of health and well-being. The avoidance of all adverse lifestyle is advisable, but the domain of lifestyle most amenable to correction is “sound and appropriate nutrition.”
It is easy for a chemist (like myself) to see the body as a universe of interacting chemicals. Whilst this perception provides an incomplete picture of life, it is a good start to understanding the importance of minerals as a vital component of a diet for health, as each mineral must serve at least one specific biological function. With the exception of aluminum and silicon, the human body is made up of the same minerals, including gold, in differing amounts as the Earth. Mineral balance (especially calcium) in the body is an absolute prerequisite for health and longevity, but I trust this important advice will not be taken in isolation of instructions on a healthy lifestyle.
I recommend Coral Calcium and Vitamin D3 as a way to supply your body with the essential minerals and nutrients that we need for optimal health and longevity.
Bobs Best Coral Calcium 2000 and Bobs Best Vitamin D3 are the perfect solution. Just take one of each with every meal. You will experience a great benefit.

In Search of Health and Youth
I share everyone’s quest for health and longevity. Whilst humankind has been denied a simple “fountain of youth,” modern science is pointing us towards the possibility of using nutrition to help secure a long and healthy life. In this new millennium, the limitations of allopathic (conventional) medicine have become increasingly apparent.
Coral Calcium and Health
The proverbial quest for the “fountain of youth” did not begin with the Spanish explorer, Ponce de Leon, but it is more than a coincidence that coral calcium and health was introduced as a important treatment agent in the oldest pharmacy in Europe that is located in Spain. This pharmacy is now a museum in Penaranda de Duero in Northern Spain and it was established in 1685. The introduction of ground coral as one of the first pharmaceuticals in Spain may have occurred from earlier occupation of the Iberian Peninsula by the Moors (Arabs). In this Medieval Pharmacy ground, stony coral is prominently displayed as a treatment. The dispensing container of coral bears several inscriptions that describe its beneficial effects on the heart and brain.
The use of coral calcium and health in early forms of allopathic (conventional) medicine was based on little more than empiric (trial and error) use with evidence of benefit. When the Spanish found the inhabitants of Okinawa to be unusually healthy and long living, they recognized that the ingestion of coral sand, later to be renamed coral calcium, was the prime ingredient. In contemporary medicine, we still operate by trial and error, but we are convinced that we can better measure outcomes using modern scientific principles of research. Whilst I do not doubt the ability of modern science to identify the safety and effectiveness of modern medicines, the precedence of the successful use of coral calcium and health speaks for itself.
Coral Calcium and Health
It is foolish to propose that any single agent will promote health and longevity in a consistent and simple manner. After all, aging and disease development are highly complex biological events with a multitude of contributory factors. However, it should be noted that coral cannot be considered a “single agent,” as it is composed of thousands of different skeletal organisms that leached nutrients out of the ocean for millions of years, thereby containing all of the mineral nutrients contained in the human body. Setting these technical thoughts aside, humankind has been on a perpetual search for one potion, lotion or elixir that will guarantee eternal youth. Whilst this miracle eludes discovery, some of the secrets of health and longevity may be much more simple than hitherto supposed.

Bob Barefoot Speaking on Coral Calcium and Health
Free Vitamin D Infomercial Sees Huge Response
GULF BREEZE, FL – After launching a nationwide infomercial in select test markets, Bob Barefoot, known as “Mr. Coral Calcium” is seeing a tremendous response to his message and his offer for “Free Vitamin D for Life”.
Barefoot says that Vitamin D3 is a critical nutrient that the vast majority of us are not getting enough of. He reports that after the medical industry (led mainly by Dermatologists) initiated a nationwide scare some 30-40 years ago, warning us to avoid the sun, we saw a major increase in Vitamin D deficiency. Most of us know that Vitamin D helps build strong, healthy bones. But Barefoot tells us that’s only a very small part of the story; explaining its role for cell function, brain development, and overall good health and disease prevention.
Recent studies conducted by top medical institutes as well as the US Government show that Vitamin D3 can actually help ward off a host of diseases. In a recent article published on the US Government’s National Center for Biotechnology Information website states: “There is enough evidence that severe deficiency of vitamin D may lead to skeletal and nonskeletal disease. Both children and adolescents seem to be in high risk of low vitamin D status especially during winter. Having a diet higher in calcium and vitamin D as well as oral supplementation with vitamin D may be necessary for children and adolescents not only in the absence of sun exposure in winter time but also in preventing other diseases such as diabetes type 1, cancer and cardiovascular disease.”
Bob points out that when our skin is exposed to natural sunlight, the penetrating UVB rays generate huge amounts of vitamin D; as much as 50,000 international units (IU) in as little as 30 minutes. But most of us do not get enough sunlight or exposure on a regular basis, to guarantee we’re producing enough Vitamin D3. He also states that the vitamin D in our foods is usually Vitamin D2, which is not useable by our bodies. So that leaves supplements to pick up the slack.
Bob Barefoot has been selling “coral calcium”, calcium derived from the coral reefs in Okinawa, Japan, and promoting its health benefits as well as researching the link between calcium and vitamin D for many years. In the recent infomercial, where he’s interviewed by Kim Estes, he offer’s viewers bottles of “Barefoot Free Vitamin D3” with 90 tablets each containing 2000 IU of Vitamin D3. The vitamin D is free and his callers pay only a very small shipping and handling charge.
Barefoot routed all the calls to his Navarre, Florida call center which is managed by BarefootAndHealthy.com. Owner Brad Riley reported that the response to the infomercial was overwhelming and tells us: “With the recent press and media concerning the importance of Vitamin D and calcium, I feel that we’re clearly in a position to help America become healthy again, and then help the world!”
What is Vitamin D?
It seems that a day does not go by without hearing about Vitamin D. So, what is Vitamin D?
Vitamin D is a very complex substance. For over half a century vitamin D was thought only to mineralize bones. But studies indicate that it does much more:
• Regulates calcium in all cells (especially brain cells)
• Protects the immune system
• Regulates cell growth and cell death
• Provides antioxidant and antiviral benefits
Since foods contain very little vitamin D, the body’s major source is from that manufactured in the deeper layers of the skin. The UVB wavelength from sunlight activates 7-dehydrocholesterol (7-DHC), transforming it into a precursor form of vitamin D-3.
It then changes to active vitamin D-3 and enters the blood stream where it is distributed all over the body.
Vitamin D from foods is metabolized in the liver and the kidneys to form the active vitamin D-3. Many forms of commercial vitamin D supplements are not the active form. So, when you buy vitamin D supplements make sure it is vitamin D-3.
Bob’s Best Vitamin D3 is the active form and very beneficial to the body, providing 5000 iu of Vitamin D3 with each tablet. Bob recommends that you use one of his vitamin D3 tablets and one coral calcium with each meal.
